Students can use this site to complete Interprofessional Learning (IPL) activities when on placement. Educators will find this site useful to access a range of resources and activities for supporting Interprofessional Learning within the placement setting. Interprofessional learning on placement gives students an experiential basis for developing skills for collaborative care in the professional workplace. Collaborative and patient/client-centred care has been shown to improve health and social care outcomes.
Interprofessional learning occurs when two or more professions learn about, from and with each other to improve collaboration and health outcomes.
